Initial 90-Day Commitment

All Artifex GBP Visibility System subscriptions require an initial minimum commitment of 90 days, beginning on the date of your first subscription payment. This initial period allows us to dedicate the necessary time and resources to designing or improving your online presence, configuring your hosting and security, optimizing your Google Business Profile, implementing automation tools, and establishing the foundation for your ongoing digital marketing services.

Because we provide these services without a separate setup fee or large upfront development charge, the initial 90-day commitment helps cover the work and resources invested in launching and managing your account. The initial commitment includes three required monthly subscription payments. Customers remain responsible for these payments even if they request cancellation before completing the commitment, unless a separate early termination arrangement has been approved in writing.

Monthly Billing and Subscription Renewal

Your first monthly subscription payment is due when you enroll. Subsequent payments are automatically charged monthly using your authorized payment method. After the initial 90-day commitment, your subscription continues on a month-to-month basis at your agreed-upon rate until canceled. There are no additional long-term commitments after the initial 90 days. You may cancel your subscription at any time following the completion of your minimum commitment, subject to the cancellation procedures outlined below.

Your monthly subscription rate remains locked in for as long as your subscription stays active and your account remains in good standing.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

To request cancellation, please contact Artifex Design Studios through our official website or by emailing our customer support team. We recommend submitting your cancellation request at least seven (7) days before your next scheduled billing date to allow sufficient time for processing. Once we receive your cancellation request, we will confirm the effective cancellation date and provide instructions regarding your website, domain, and connected services. Cancellation requests received after a monthly payment has been processed will generally take effect at the end of the current paid billing period. After completing your initial 90-day commitment, there are no additional cancellation penalties or website buyout fees.

Refunds and Early Cancellation

Because our services involve ongoing management, website development, hosting, software licensing, and third-party service costs, subscription payments are generally nonrefundable once a billing period has begun, except where otherwise required by law. Customers requesting cancellation before completing their initial 90-day commitment remain responsible for the payments associated with that commitment unless an alternative arrangement has been approved in writing.

If you wish to cancel early and take ownership of your website before completing the initial commitment, you must contact Artifex Design Studios to request an early website buyout.

The proposed buyout fee will be determined based on the remaining commitment, work completed, and applicable development or service costs. The amount will be provided for your review and approval before any buyout transaction takes place. Once the agreed-upon buyout amount has been paid and any other applicable account obligations have been satisfied, we will arrange for the release of your website files and assist with the transition.

Website Ownership After 90 Days

At Artifex Design Studios, we believe you should own the website we’ve created for your business. Once you have successfully completed your initial 90-day commitment and fulfilled all required subscription payments, ownership of your custom website transfers to you. This includes the custom website design, pages, written content, and images created specifically for your business, subject to applicable third-party licensing restrictions. You may continue hosting your website with Artifex Design Studios through an active subscription or move it to another hosting provider of your choice. There is no additional website purchase fee or buyout requirement after completing your initial 90-day commitment. Website ownership does not include Artifex Design Studios’ proprietary tools, third-party software licenses, ongoing management services, or subscription-based technology.

Website Files and Transfer Upon Cancellation

If you decide to cancel after completing your initial 90-day commitment, Artifex Design Studios will gladly provide a downloadable ZIP archive of your current website.

The archive will include available website files, themes, custom design elements, media, and a database export where applicable, allowing your website to be migrated to another compatible hosting provider.

We will make the website export available within fourteen (14) business days after receiving your cancellation request, provided your initial commitment has been completed and any outstanding account obligations have been satisfied.

Your new hosting provider will be responsible for installing, configuring, securing, and maintaining your website following the transfer.

Although we will provide the available files needed for migration, certain premium plugins, licensed software, and third-party integrations may require separate subscriptions or replacement services to continue functioning.

We do not charge an additional website buyout fee for transfers requested after the initial 90-day commitment.

Domain Name Ownership and Transfer

If Artifex Design Studios registered or manages your domain name as part of your subscription, we will assist with transferring the domain to your preferred registrar or updating its DNS settings to point to your new hosting provider.

After completing your initial 90-day commitment and satisfying any outstanding account obligations, you may request a domain transfer without an additional website buyout fee.

Once you provide the necessary registrar, hosting, or DNS information, we will cooperate with the transfer process and provide available authorization information when required.

Domain transfers are subject to applicable registrar policies, ICANN regulations, and registration eligibility requirements. Certain domains may be subject to temporary transfer restrictions, including restrictions following a new registration or recent transfer.

While we will assist with the transfer process, we cannot guarantee the processing time of third-party registrars or hosting providers.

Customers are responsible for any future domain renewal fees, hosting charges, or other costs associated with their new provider.

Services Not Included in Website Ownership

Although you own your custom website after completing the initial 90-day commitment, ownership does not include the ongoing services, software subscriptions, or proprietary systems provided through the Artifex GBP Visibility System.

When your subscription ends, the following services will be discontinued:

• AI Website Chat Assistant: AI-powered visitor assistance, lead capture tools, and related automation services.
• Google Business Profile Management: Ongoing profile optimization, maintenance, business updates, and visibility management.
• Review & Reputation Management: Automated review requests, AI-assisted responses, review monitoring, and related tools.
• Automated Social Media & Promotional Posting: Automated promotional content and posting to supported connected platforms.
• Local SEO & AI Search Services: Ongoing search optimization, AI search readiness updates, and related management.
• Visibility Reporting: Google Maps ranking heatmaps, performance tracking, monthly reports, and related reporting dashboards.
• Website Hosting & Security: Hosting, SSL management, automated backups, uptime monitoring, and security services provided through Artifex.
• Website Maintenance & Support: Ongoing content updates, technical maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support.
• Business Email Services: Email hosting and related services provided through Artifex, where applicable.
• Premium Software & Integrations: Third-party tools, premium plugins, automation systems, and licensed services requiring an active subscription.

These services are separate from website ownership and will not automatically transfer to another provider. Customers wishing to continue using similar features after cancellation may need to obtain separate software licenses, hosting accounts, or service subscriptions.

Third-Party Software and Licensing

Certain websites and services provided by Artifex Design Studios may incorporate third-party software, premium WordPress plugins, themes, stock images, fonts, integrations, or other licensed technology. These components remain subject to their respective licensing agreements and may not be transferable upon cancellation. Where permitted, existing website files and licensed assets may be included in your website export. However, continued updates, premium functionality, technical support, or access to licensed services may require separate purchases or subscriptions. Artifex Design Studios retains ownership of its proprietary systems, internal processes, automation configurations, and other intellectual property not expressly transferred as part of your website ownership.

Google Business Profile and Business Account Access

Your Google Business Profile remains associated with your business and is not owned by Artifex Design Studios. Upon cancellation, we will discontinue the ongoing management, optimization, automated posting, review management, reporting, and related services provided through your subscription. We will cooperate with reasonable requests to confirm that the appropriate business owner retains access to their Google Business Profile. Any third-party tools, automation systems, or reporting dashboards connected through Artifex may become unavailable after your subscription ends. We recommend confirming access to your Google Business Profile and other important business accounts before the final service date.

Business Email and Connected Services

If your subscription includes business email hosting or other connected services managed by Artifex Design Studios, those services may be discontinued when your subscription ends. Customers are responsible for arranging replacement email hosting, migrating existing messages, and updating any necessary DNS records before the termination of service. We will provide reasonable assistance with identifying the information needed.
